Review
Whatever Acclaim wanted to accomplish in the Turok series, be it a strong story, good graphics and sound, or letting a new generation explore the famous comics, one thing is for sure…it was very, very messy.
Placing you as a new Turok, Joshua Fireseed, you travel to ancient and strange worlds with Adon as your guide. Being that you are Turok, you have a vast assortment of weapons to choose from, and in the sequel to the revolutionary Turok: Dinosaur Hunter, they don’t shy away from the ones that make the bad guys go splat. The game was released for both the PC and the Nintendo 64, with little difference in the actual gameplay, but a significant improvement in both audio and visual quality on the PC.
The Turok 2: Seeds of Evil Soundtrack features heavy bass, long drum solos, and some string instruments. The soundtrack also has a very Native American feel to it, with flutes and other wind instruments playing a large role in many of the songs. This soundtrack was provided by staff member Yoleme.
