Take your favorite Nintendo characters…..Link, Donkey Kong, Mario…..now take your favorite Nintendo locations…..Yoshi’s Island, Sector Z, Saffron City….everyone set? Now fight….again.
This is the concept behind Hal Laboratories’ Super Smash Bros. Melee, the sequel to their fantastic Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 64 . Remaining a “must have” game for the GCN nearly four years after its release, many question why another version of the game has not been released.
Again being more of a compilation than its own original soundtrack, the Super Smash Bros. Melee Soundtrack features hits from the best Nintendo has to offer, including new versions of the Mario Bros. Theme and the Metroid Theme. As a bonus, VGTunes is proud to present the Super Smash Bros. Melee concert that was performed in Japan (Smashing...LIVE!) absolutely free. This contains fully orchestrated tracks of some of the best Nintendo songs, such as Zelda, Donkey Kong, and Mario.
